These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website, emergency hotline, and all non-fault accident management services – including vehicle recovery, storage, replacement vehicle provision (credit hire), repair management, and legal assistance coordination across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

By accessing our website, contacting our helpline, or instructing us to act on your behalf following a road traffic collision, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. About React Accident Management

React Accident Management is a trading name of React Accident Management Ltd, with registered offices at Unit B, 33-37 Finaghy Rd North, Belfast, Northern Ireland, BT10 0JB. We operate as an independent accident management specialist providing credit hire, recovery, repair coordination, and claims handling services across the island of Ireland.

2. Our Services & Non-Fault Basis

React provides accident management services on a non-fault basis. This means our services are designed for motorists, commercial operators, taxi drivers, and fleet owners who have been involved in a road traffic collision caused wholly or partially by a third party.

• Eligibility: To qualify for our services without paying out-of-pocket costs, there must be a traceable at-fault third party whose insurer can be held legally liable for the collision.

• Customer Cooperation: You agree to provide accurate, truthful, and complete information regarding the circumstances of the accident, vehicle ownership, insurance details, and driver identity. Providing false or misleading information may render you personally liable for costs incurred.

3. Vehicle Recovery & Storage Services

• Authorization: By requesting vehicle recovery, you authorize React or our appointed recovery partners to transport your vehicle from the crash site or location to a secure storage facility.

• Storage Charges: Vehicle storage fees are calculated on a standard daily rate and recovered directly from the fault driver’s insurer as part of your overall claim.

• Vehicle Inspection: You grant React and our appointed independent engineering assessors permission to access, inspect, and evaluate damage to your vehicle to establish repair estimates or total loss valuations.

4. Replacement Vehicles (Credit Hire Agreements)

When React provides a representative replacement vehicle while your own vehicle is off the road, you will enter into a separate formal Credit Hire Agreement:

• Representative Class: We endeavor to supply a replacement vehicle of a representative class, standard, and specification to your own vehicle.

• Cost Recovery: Hire charges are billed at competitive commercial credit hire rates and submitted directly to the third-party insurer for payment.

• Mitigation of Loss: You agree to return the replacement vehicle promptly once your own vehicle has been fully repaired, or within a reasonable agreed timeframe following receipt of your total loss (write-off) settlement payment.

• Driver Requirements: All drivers of replacement vehicles must hold a valid driving license, meet minimum age requirements, and comply with the terms of the insurance policy covering the hire vehicle.

5. Repair Management & Total Loss

• Bodyshop Repairs: Repairs are carried out by accredited body repair partners using genuine original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts wherever possible.

• Total Loss (Write-Off): If an independent engineer determines your vehicle is economically repairable, repairs proceed. If declared a total loss, React will assist you in negotiating a fair market settlement with the third-party insurer.

6. Legal Assistance & Personal Injury Coordination

React works alongside an established panel of independent legal solicitors. If you or your passengers elect to pursue a claim for personal injury, lost earnings, or unrecovered losses:

• Legal services are provided directly by the appointed solicitor firm under their own terms of engagement (typically structured on a No Win, No Fee basis).

• React does not provide legal advice directly; all legal representation is handled by qualified legal professionals.

7. Customer Responsibilities & Honest Dealing

To ensure seamless cost recovery from the third-party insurer, you agree to:

1. Assist React and our appointed legal partners by providing necessary documentation (e.g., driving license, proof of income if claiming lost earnings, vehicle registration documents).

2. Cooperate with reasonable requests from legal representatives or court proceedings should the third-party insurer dispute liability or quantum of costs.

3. Notify React immediately of any communication received directly from the third-party driver or their insurance company.

8. Website Usage & Intellectual Property

• Content Usage: All text, branding, graphics, logos, and content on this website are the property of React Accident Management and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce or redistribute site material without prior written permission.

• Accuracy: While we endeavor to keep all information on our website accurate and up to date, website content is provided for general informational purposes only and does not constitute formal legal or insurance advice.

9. Limitation of Liability

React Accident Management accepts no liability for loss or damage arising from delays caused by third-party insurers, independent repairers, material supplier shortages, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury resulting from negligence, or for fraud.

10. Privacy & Data Protection

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Northern Ireland. The courts of Northern Ireland shall have exclusive jurisdiction to resolve any disputes.

12. Changes to Terms
